About Caroline

In the past, Caroline Grossinger served on the board of the United Way and Chamber of Commerce. Similar to her company’s mission statement: We strive to go above and beyond our customers’ expectations. Each and everyone’s personal mission is to find a better way, every day. She looks at her own life to find a “better way, every day” no matter what she is doing or what tasks she is approaching in her own personal life.

Caroline Grossinger is one of the owner operators of Grossinger Autoplex, Grossinger Hyundai, Grossinger Toyota, and Grossinger Kia. All four dealerships, which have been family owned and operated for over 90 years, are located in Lincolnwood, Illinois just north of the city of Chicago. Grossinger Toyota and Grossinger Autoplex, which includes the franchises Cadillac, Pontiac, GMC, Buick, Suzuki and pre-owned vehicles. Grossinger Toyota and Grossinger Autoplex represent two of the top ten largest dealerships by volume of vehicles sold according to Illinois Cross Sell Report. Each location have gone through a complete renovation and now offers state-of-the-art sales and service facilities.

Caroline attended Wellesley College, graduating magna cum laude and earning a double major in political science and economics. Caroline was elected to be a member of the Phi Beta Kappa scholastics society. After graduation, she attended night classes in the University of Chicago’s MBA program.

Caroline Grossinger was elected President of the Pontiac, Buick, and GMC LMA board for General Motors in Chicago. She has served on the board for Volvo on the R.A.B. (Retail Advisory Board) as well as R.M.B. (Retail Marketing Board) before she sold her Volvo Franchise. In addition to her automotive activities, she also serves as a director for First Bank and Trust of Evanston and on the alumnae board of Wellesley College. She is on the board for Wellesley now which involves on campus activities well as off campus.
